We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to love and strengthen our community by serving healthy, nutritious food for all, regardless of means.

VISION

We plan to provide a loving and welcoming environment that provides an opportunity for all people to come and experience the love of Jesus through great food, conversation, and community. As we are more established within our communities, we desire to offer a hand in lifting our neighbors out of poverty through collective impact with other organizations within our communities.

What’s Happening

Here’s what to expect leading up to the launch of our Pay-What-You-Can Model

Fundraising $$$

We’ll be actively raising the support needed to build a strong and sustainable foundation. This includes selling homemade baked goods, writing grants, seeking values-aligned partnerships, and connecting with donors who believe in our mission. Stay tuned for ways to get involved!

Feeding Our Neighbors Outreach Events

While we are fundraising to fully launch our operations, we will be partnering with local nonprofits to strengthen our impact. We serve our neighbors 2-3 times per month. We also spread awareness of the available resources. Upcoming Events: December 13th and 27th 3-6pm in Woodruff Park.

Board Member Recruitment

We’re proud to have welcomed five dedicated founding board members to help guide TMSK and are actively seeking others who share our vision for serving our ATL community. If you have experience in outreach, fundraising, planning, or community engagement—and a heart for service—we’d love to connect.

Praying to have Wheels Rolling in 26′

$300,000 is a big chunk of money, but it’s not impossible. We are trusting in God and hoping our community will step forward to help us in this. God gave this vision to our Executive Director, Tomaiya, back in 2022. She’s been building this nonprofit while in school ever since then and is excited to see what He’s going to do through TMSK.

How the PWYC Model Will Work

The menu board will have suggested prices. If those prices are too high, one can lower it down to a minimum of $3 for their meal. If $3 is too high, customers are welcome to volunteer 30 minutes to an hour for their entire meal. We will offer opportunities for individuals to volunteer within our operations and across other nonprofits in the Atlanta area. BE KIND! cards will allow individuals to pay-it-forward toward their neighbors and can be redeemed for a meal and drink/pastry.

We want to allow the most opportunities for people to receive a meal, and we are aware that our food truck alone would be limited to the number of volunteers allowed per moment. To mitigate this, we plan to partner with local nonprofits as a way to allow our customers to volunteer at more than just our food truck to get compensation for their meals. Volunteering at other nonprofits offers another avenue to strengthening our community.

It really showed that poverty and food inequality is a human problem and that a solution is within reach. It was incredibly uplifting and encouraging to see God show up with us throughout our day and purposefully put us in the path of people who needed us.

FAQs

When do you plan to launch operations?

We are hoping to launch our food truck before the end of 2026. We are actively seeking donors and sponsorships, writing grants, and engaging in other methods as a way to fundraise for future operations.

Is your main focus to serve homeless individuals?

Kindly, no. Our main focus is to serve those who are experiencing food insecurity as well as those who aren’t. We are trying to build community among individuals with varying socioeconomic statuses within our city of Atlanta. Our pay-what-you-can model allows us to do this in a beautiful way. Anyone, regardless of their income, is welcome to dine with us to enjoy a meal that is nutritious for their body and partake in conversation that will be beneficial for their soul.

What impact does TMSK hope to have on the ATL community?

We hope feed both body and soul by creating a space where people from all walks of life can dine and connect with dignity and warmth. Through community tables and shared experiences, we aim to break down social barriers and foster real relationships between individuals who might never have met otherwise. Our goal is to spark a culture of neighborly love and mutual respect, where care for one another comes not from obligation, but from a deep sense of shared humanity. By nourishing people and creating opportunities for connection, we hope to make Atlanta a more compassionate, united, and hopeful place for everyone.

Are there any opportunities to volunteer?

Yes! As we are building awareness of our nonprofit’s mission, we would love to have volunteers to help us with our outreach/communication efforts. This could include creating social media content as well as having conversations with people to share more about our mission. We will also be selling baked goods soon as a way to fundraise, and volunteering in this capacity would include baking and packing items. Are there ways that I can support your mission outside of volunteering?

Of course! There are many meaningful ways to still support us. We are currently fundraising to be able to get our food truck as well as working on spreading our mission/vision to the Atlanta community. If you are able to donate, we would be grateful for your contribution, and all donations will be provided with a tax receipt as they are tax-deductible.
